Sunshiny Colour on the Windowsill.
That’s the name I’m giving this art instillation.
If it has a title, my refusal to tidy up after myself is guilt-free…
Sold five cushions this morning so the felt is flying and the thread spools are spinning as I replenish my stock.
I like to think of them being wrapped and unwrapped as gifts. I hope they raise a smile or trigger a memory wherever they end up.
I spent a beautiful Friday morning in the garden photographing stock with help from my Props Master/Set Designer/Mum. I’m really pleased with the photos and I think the cushions look lovely in the sunshine.
The action shots of us chasing cushions around the garden in the gale force winds have not been included here. The shots of us frantically gathering cushions, furniture, and flowers at the first threat of rain have also been omitted. We’ll keep them for the family album.
If you like anything you see here and would be interested in making a purchase, please get in touch either via Tumblr or by e-mailing me directly: firstname.lastname@example.org
[To be clear, I’m selling the cushions. You’ll need to talk to my Props Master/Set Designer/Mum about the other items in the photographs]
Prep for another cushion done.
Top tip: Try to co-ordinate the colour of your fingertips with the accents in your home furnishings. It makes for a stylish and sophisticated home.
Beautiful collection of gifts from my brother and sister-in-law.
I am very lucky to have such thoughtful present purchasers in my family.
One of my beautiful birthday gifts.
